Suzanne M. Butler, Esq. joined the firm in 2009. Suzanne practices some general civil litigation, but focuses most of her practice on helping her family law clients.
Family law is a very personal area of the law and very stressful for clients. It sometimes presents with complex issues like psychological concerns, drug and alcohol concerns, and high conflict parenting situations. With a background in psychology and counseling, Suzanne helps her clients navigate potentially difficult times with compassion, knowledge and patience.
Suzanne has experience in all areas of family law practice including divorce, child custody, child support, spousal support, alimony, equitable distribution of marital property and debt, grandparent rights, appellate work, protection from abuse and legal name changes.
Having lived in and practiced law in Central Pennsylvania for many years, Suzanne primarily practices in Dauphin, Cumberland and York counties. However, her practice has been extended to include Perry, Lebanon, Franklin and Lancaster counties as well. Suzanne has also practiced before the Superior Court of Pennsylvania and the Commonwealth Court of Pennsylvania.
Suzanne is a 1996 Magna Cum Laude graduate of Gannon University; and a 2009 Cum Laude graduate of Widener University School of Law, now Widener University Commonwealth Law School.
Suzanne is wife to Benjamin Butler and mama bear to three beautiful daughters and two ridiculously spoiled fur babies.
